What are the most influential Latin American countries culturally?

Brazil influence could be larger if the country were not a portuguese speaking bubble that has a North Korean level closed economy that also lives in its coast far from other nations and finally basically a country without diasporas compared with its colossal dimensions with even small islands of Caribe, european countries and small central american countries with far large diaspora. It seems only Minas Gerais state has a descent diaspora outside.

Mexico because of its strong ties with the USA and consequently the mexican presence in the american mainstream media. Puerto Rico (if it counts) is also disproportionately influential for the very same reasons.

I don't think Brazil has a big impact, we're a surprisingly isolationist people in comparison to our spanish-speaking neighbours, a lot of brazilians straight up dislike the "latino" label. Everybody knows Carnaval and Samba, but I'm pretty sure Bum Bum Tam Tam has been the most significant brazilian contribution to the world in the 21st century.
