Ok, there was lots of hype that came out when academic viking samples were released for G25 but no fanfare to the fact that the Celtic vs Germanic codes were updated as well.

Not all the viking samples were pure vikings etc... so if you plot close to a viking you shoud see where they plot. For instance, in G25 I get a viking from Dorset England as my closest match but Celtic vs Germanic says something else it says a Gotland Swedish Viking :

My closet match to a modern population with G25 is the Dutch :

I don't think we should read this that I'm literally Dutch especially since my Y-DNA is more Scottish/Irish than anything else. This might just mean that I plot more in a viking or Germanic direction that the average Scotsman. The average Scotsman is 30% Saxon/Viking (with a large spread) compared to 38% for SouthEast England but I'm probably more like closer to the latter or at least in between. I might be more Baltid like a viking or German the average too etc...

Sh*t maybe I do look kind of Dutch afterall or maybe the Dutch and the lowland Scottish are both simply Germanic and leave it at that ? She does look like she could be my sister. Lowland Scot :
