And even though many Apriticians tend to exaggerate the differences between Georgians and Armenians, the variation between the two is still quite noticeable. Georgians follow Eastern Orthodox Christianity, tying them closely with Russians and Eastern Europeans, while Armenians follow their own form of Christianity, closer to the religion's traditional Middle Eastern roots, which in a way connects them with Assyrians and other West Asian Christians. And Georgians' traditional homeland has been in the Caucasus, while Armenians stretched into Anatolia and Persia throughout their history. However, both groups have interacted with Muslims for centuries, and have resisted assimilation and integration into the greater Islamic world, whether it be confronting the Arabs, Persians, or Turks. And calling Georgians and Armenians Jews and Arabs is outright wrong, as their cultures are closer to that of Europeans than Semites, and they tend to have straight hair and brachycephalic faces while Jews and Arabs have curly hair and dolichocephalic faces, and perhaps even retain a good amount of SSA admixture. I would say that Georgians and Armenians are the easternmost extent of European civilization in the Old World, even if their geographic origins are in West Asia, and despite the two countries' long history of rivalry and antagonism, and current-day political orientations, I believe that they should set aside their religious, genetic, and cultural differences and work to improve their relationship.
