I read this article "MyHeritage, based in Israel, charges much lower shipping rates than AncestryDNA, making it an instant favorite among Europeans (Return shipping is included in the price of all DNA kits)." (https://janesgenes.com/international...-they-service/)

I think their european database will increase soon. I also think their database will match with my results, because I have only mediterranean ancestry (even Syria is a Mediterranean country). 23andme is best, but it is more expensive for Brazilians (5 times more) and their service doesn't ship to Brazil.

Can I download MyHeritage raw data to upload in another service?

You can, but you'll have to pay for these ethnicity estimate reports, but I think you'd still have matches. LivingDNA, FTDNA (current one), etc. they're almost as bad as MH in providing a precise ethnicity report, imo. With MyHeritage, you could very well discover your Y, but you can also receive a generic prediction (ex: R1b-L151) which can be frustrating.

There's an amateurish test called Ethnogene that is extremely precise considering it's not one of the big companies, and it's certanly better than all these mentioned above, it's just not better than 23andme and AncestryDNA, you can do it by uploading your raw data and paying $ 30 if i'm not mistaken. But, they're not accepting uploads right now due to huge amount of orders they received, and their customer service is just the worst - they won't send you an order confirmation email, they won't answer your emails and they're very likely to greatly exceed the informed deliver time. They gave me a 15 business days estimation, it has been 3 months since and I'm still waiting for my results.

Ordering MyHeritage in your case wasn't a terrible idea, unable to order either 23andme or ancestrydna, and excluding Genera, the best cost-benefit for Brazilians would definitely be MyHeritage. Their raw data is quite good and there's a chance your Y prediction will be quite deep. You just won't know your mtDNA and the ethnicity report is terrible, but so is Genera's. That's what I did (before Genera started selling here) and that's what I recommended to my friends.

I don't trust in a Brazilian service that the owner have a codom collection.
