Comedies with Pierre Richard and Louis de Funes have traditionally been popular in our country.
Of the non-comedic actors, Alain Delon (for a female audience), Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Reno (for a male audience) are quite famous.
Of the French actresses, I only remember Michel Mercier well because of the series of films about Angelica (our television loves it).
There are also beautiful actresses, but I don't remember the names of the films.
I've always liked the Le Coup Du Parapluie, Le Jouet, Le Professionnel and Léon movies, this is the first things that comes to mind.
