Olga hailing from Norse Helga (holy) is a common name in Greece. I can't think of any other name that it is so popular and at the same time so foreign in Greece, pretty much every other common name is of Greek, Biblical and (old) Latin origin (Constantine, Markos...).
The only reason and source I can find is that it became popular under the rule of Olga Constantinovna,
Olga Constantinovna of Russia
Olga Constantinovna of Russia (Greek: Όλγα; 3 September [O.S. 22 August] 1851 – 18 June 1926) was Queen consort of the Hellenes as the wife of King George I. She was briefly the regent of Greece in 1920.
