In West? Maybe, nowadays Koreans can get a huge chunk of girls since K-Pop and Dorama are trends and some girls really want asian guys.

In East Asia? False, since even living in Japan some friends said clearly that while some japanese girls do prefer westerns, doesn't that mean they would not date japanese guys. Plus, some girls would never date foreigners, only natives.

I think it's more of a personality thing, all Asians even the women are pretty different from westerners, it's improper to stand out in Asia in a lot of culture as were the west, being flamboyant and "unique" is considered a plus. I knew a half Korean half German Amerimutt who had issues but I think he just was a douche bag. I used to live near a Hmong community and they did well among themselves, they just were too quiet and standoffish.
