Literally every year, Turkey shows itself to be the best ally in Somalia's history...and we dont even deserve it. Literally we could not ask for a better, more humane patron in the new scramble for Africa. Turkey has granted nearly $3.4 million to Somalia’s debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as part of an initiative the fund kicked off earlier this year to relieve the heavy debts of low-income countries.

The Turks owe not only to the Americans but also to the Russians crazy money now and they do not know where to find it.

According to the Wall Street Journal, 7 Turkish energy companies owe about $ 2 billion to the Russian company or Gazprom, for debt related to a period from 2019.

A senior official confirmed that "Gazprom is asking Ankara to pay, as the debt is huge, but no answer has been given. The Turks owe huge sums to Russians, Americans, Germans (armaments) and certainly elsewhere, and yet they provoke in the Eastern Mediterranean and threaten the whole world.

"Turkey is a completely unreliable ally. This is already understood in the Kremlin, which made another mistake with the supply of this type of weapons to Ankara" the Russian official continues.

Such warming embrace and endearment is all good and well but Turkey may be a little too receptive in my opinion. It is my belief, that Turkey's involvement in Somalia as well as Northern Syria, Azerbaijan and Libya are all a part of his ambitions to restore the Ottoman empire and his pro-Islamic actions are no doubt going to cause much of the Muslim world to champion his cause.

A Neo Ottoman empire will be a good for the world. The Islamic era Turks may have been harsh, but they did not put for eg, economic hitmen on the dhimmis, or fleece them with usurious loan and bankruptcies, or build underground lodges that subterfuge the society. They let people be, as long as they pay their taxes...They provided law, nobody was getting robbed... and much of the Global imbalance between east and west, upto and including China, is because the Ottomans collapsed in WW1. The world needs a policeman in the mediterrenean which is a little brutish, but a little naive/miskeen/unsophisticated. This is what the Ottomans were. One of the most maligned and badly slandered empires of World History
