Not technically true; Nagorno-Karabakh is the old autonomous Armenian region of Azerbaijan. Around 90% of that area was in the republic of Artsakh. However, the republic of Arstakh also included a large amount of territory surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, to the south and to the west in particular - more territory than Nagorno-Karabakh itself.

A very unfavourable deal for Armenia, it must be said, but they were heavily outnumbered and with no support whatsoever from the international community - it is unsurprising. Pashinyan was correct to do what he did; the cause was hopeless and Stepankert would have fallen within a week.

Not 100% true. What Armenia lacks in oil and tech, it has a huge diaspora abroad who fund them a lot. Even System of a Down gave them millions.
