it is not trolling bc the the horn is not some sort of isolated corner. There is no geographic barrier separating it from Kenya or Sudan. Sudan on one hand does have some Caucasoid ancestry while Kenya overwhelmingly lacks it. That's why it's strange.

OK now that's a good question because alot of people dont know this...but there actually IS a barrier. It's called the "Great Rift Valley". If you drive across kenya...you will see a clear cut geological 'border' that shapes everything, climate, phenotype etc. Its the Rift valley (where archaeologists supposedly find all these Hominids). West and south of the Rift, its green, savannah and marshlands...homes are in the stereotypical "Conical Hut" you imagine African dwellings to be. Most people are subsistence farmers. As you drive up the rift, it gets drier and drier, the huts change into "tents" and the people look like Somalis.

Even the Animals change from say, Impalas to Gerenuks and so on...

I heard about it! But mainly in the animal sense. They were saying that there is a genetic divide between even animals of the same species living on different sides of the Rift valley.

Black arabs, yedo they really think of them as that?..as said before i have seen quite a lot of them, and most speak arabic perfectly, but then they also have their own language

i gotta say they were among the intelligent groups, with afghans beeing only up to problems, the youth from sudan spent their weekends studying

Are Muslim West Africans like Senegalese/Gambians, Malians, Guineans, Hausas, Fulanis also seen as madow/adoon by Somalis?

Apparently another definition of the term "Horner" that is used by Wikipedia is someone from Greater Somalia, whose border roughly corresponds to the boundary of the Rift Valley:

In South Sudan and Uganda, they are completely different from Horners...Idi Amin was a Nilote
OK, so because the "Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region" of Ethiopia is an area where Ethiopia expanded recently (since the late 1800s), it makes sense to exclude it from the regions that are culturally and racially part of the Horn. It falls within the western side of the East African Rift too.

Equating Horners with high Caucasoid admixture with Afro-Asiatic speakers is not necessarily correct either, because there's some Afro-Asiatic languages that are spoken by fully or almost fully black peoples in the SNNPR. For example Dassanech are Cushitic, but they're predominantly black and they mostly live in the SNNPR. Omotic languages are usually classified under Afroasiatic languages, even though it's disputed. Omotic languages are also mostly spoken in the SNNPR or in other parts of Southwestern Ethiopia.

I know you already know this, but I'm just writing this for other users. I want to know if there's a good term for the peoples like Somalis, Oromo, Amhara, Tigray, and Afar, who are balanced mixes between Caucasoids and Negroids.

Maasai are only about 1/4 Caucasoid, but HPT classifies Maasai as an Ethiopid subtype, and it says that Biasutti and Eickstedt also considered Maasai to be a variety of Ethiopid (http://humanphenotypes.net/Maasai.html). So even the term "Ethiopid" can also include peoples who are only about 1/4 Caucasoid.

Maasai look pretty Caucasoid compared to other Nilotic-speaking peoples though:

I went to Sudan to learn Arabic and the term of respect for a man was Ya Muhandis (Mr Engineer)...like equivalent of calling someone "sir" here. They truly valued education and was full of scholarly types

Nigeria is made up of over 220 different ethnic groups. I doubt they all lookalike especially when the Northern portion of the country is home to 30-20 million Fulanis and Baggara Arabs. The only reason most westerners tend to believe Nigerians all look alike is because most Nigerians who immigrate to the West are Igbos and Yorubas from the South whilst Hausas and Fulanis tend to immigrate to Gulf Countries.

Sedentary Fulanis are more Bantu/Congoid looking compared to the pastoralists as they mixed with other tribes.
