This would certainly trigger World War 3 (not caused by us).

That's not Germany but something like West-Germania. You underestimate that all these countries have national pride, regardless they speak German or not. They're far too stubborn for such a unification lol

Indeed most swiss, dutch (or even austrians) don't want that but as fantasy or idea it is good. I think Austria should be a part of Germany again with no doubt, and the new capital of Germany should be Wien. This Berlin capital concept is obsolete since there is no Prussia anymore.

“The patriot, like the Christian, must learn that to bear revilings and persecutions is a part of his duty; and in proportion as the trial is severe, firmness under it becomes more requisite and praiseworthy.” ~ Thomas Jefferson, 1805
In my knowledge Swiss and Netherlands were never a part of early unification ideas of Germans. The only reason why Germany and Austria aren’t a part of a united country was their rivalry.
Today i cannot imagine that this could happen. With EU and economy Germans did find a new way for realizing their big power, nationalistic motives playing hardly a role at political agenda of Germany, at least regarding external affairs. This can change but for this century any unification with Austria won’t happen, even Eastern Germany was just a mercy of big powers.

Natural borders of Germany looks like in old good times, at the last Karolings and early Ludolfings.
Violet area. Today also crossed east marks.
