I think you are exaggerating. Many if not most people there look like me, half German... They don't pass as German as good as Czechs though (many of whom having extremely German looks).

I can see it too. Maybe something of it has something to do with German settlers from the past, albeit now there is none. I think of one our forum members, Artek - is from there iirc he has confirmed German ancestors. It is uncommon though.
