No. When I was 6-8 my bedroom was a storage room next to a chapel, that others (adults) said they had experiences in and were spooked by, but I must repel evil spirits.

I've never experienced anything really freaky either but some close family members did.

Two. Which conflits a lot with my beliefs and i would rather had them explained out by now, in a simple rational way. I guess it's never that bad to be forced into thinking against yourself sometimes. One of them was in group, so at least one im certain wasn't only me.

Back when I was maybe 10 years old or so, my sister and I were home alone in the evening, I think my parents had gone food shopping or something. We kept hearing spooky noises in the house, and so my sister and I went into her room and were literally cowering in a corner. Suddenly out of the dead silence I heard a voice, it sounded like a deep, demon voice, and it said, "I will get you!!!"

Enough was enough, I stood up and shouted back, "Get out of here!!!" And proceeded to march thru the house, ready to confront whatever it was... I never heard another voice again.

In hindsight I feel that my brain must have created that voice (my sister did not hear it). I can still remember, to this day, exactly how it sounded. Shows you the power of a frightened mind.

no, but I was so scared when I was going out at night to pee, being from the countryside we had an outhouse (outdoor toilet) that sometimes was even 30 metres away from the house, into the garden. no light bulb outside, if you were lucky you got moonlight. I hate horror movies even as an art form, not only because they are scary, but they are rarely good, usually a terrible kitsch, but scary enough anyway, so was watching such shit films as a teenageer especially with friends that enjoyed that, and then I remembered those films when I was like again alone in the dark peeing behind the house and any sound or animal moving around or the wind in the cornfield SEEMED SOMETHING now with this thread I realize such images have been away from me for such a long period and I often pee outside even now, though I have an indoor bath in the meantime, without being afraid. so if you are into scary shit of any kind you probably put that fear into you. dunno about you but if for some reason I am walking at night I am better alone on the street than with someone else walking behind or from opposite

After the 2nd husband of my great-grandmother died suddenly on heart attack my great-grandma heard him calling on the phone the very next day. She heard him repeating the same sentence three times. Also cups in the cabinet would tremble on its own. There were multiple witnesses to that. And some other strange stuff happening but I don't remember the details.

As a kid a friend slept over and we had a great day and then went to sleep, we both at like 1-3am woked up by a loud mechanic voice from my room. Noone in the house noticed anything and we were frightend to death but somehow scared to wake anyone up as noone would believe us. It just occured one time and still got no clue what it said. We locked ourselves in the bathroom and prayed. Lord know what it was, I got no explaination whatsoever. Besides that nothing I can think of. As kids we had alot of fantasy but the crazy thing is, that I wasnt alone. But I managed to sleep weeks later by praying before going to bed, gave me comfort.

I was in bed about to fall asleep and just at the second you go from wakefulness to sleep there was a click and for some reason I didn't go into sleep and at that very moment I could feel a hand stroking my silky hair over and over again, I didn't feel any fear, I knew who it was.

When I was 10 both my parents worket at night and I usually had to stay alone with my brother after the housekeeper had left at 7pm.We lived in a big house at the time,I went to shower after my brother slept , it was a shower with a glass wall around it ,you know.Maybe it was because i was already afraid and the glass was cloudy of the steam but i saw the image of a little girl outside ,she had a white dress and was holding a toy seemed to be around 4 year old. I looked at the floor for the rest of the bath opened the door and runned to my brothers room ,althought he was sleeping and is 7 years younger he made me fell better or something. Till today im am not shure if my mind made the image up or what.
