Why are libertarians so eccentric?

Every libertarian I've met or seen has been very strange. None of them are cool, they're prone to believing wacky shit, and some even seem to be on the spectrum.

Prominent YouTube libertarians like Styxhexenhammer666 and Stefan Molyneux all fit this bill. Very eccentric.

We focus on the individual, and support the freedom of the individual. Individuals are individuals; i.e. not part of the crowd.

Because of our desire for individual liberty, we don't focus on maintaining the status quo.

I’m noticing more younger females though. There’s one on twitter that has thousands of followers, forgot her name, I’ve been banned from twitter a million times by now, maybe because she’s cute but one minute she’d say Trump is the best president ever and the next minute he’s the worst. They’re always on the fence. Mike Cernovich is another one too, it’s like he’s bipolar or something

Libertarianism lost its credibility because it doesn't answer the need of the shrinking Middle Class, that has been affected by globalization : growing inequalities, unfair competition with emerging markets, desindustrialization, open border policies with mass migration and feeling of ethno-cultural dispossession (the Great Replacement)

All these issues require strong leadership to take the country back to the right track, especially in the US
For left-wing people, it would be a more socialist ideology like Bernie Sanders, and for right-wing people, a Populist like Trump

You mean right leaning libertarians that realize that property rights are the key to freedom. It's kind of like atheism... solid idea, but draws in edge lords, especially on youtube.

The libertarian party is questionable and the libertarian subreddit is astroturfed with socialists.
