I won't merely "know about" my child. It would be where the mother and I would live separately, and I would be in my child's life, I just wouldn't have the lions' share of childcare.

I find it hilarious that this is my most thumbed-down thread, but there is a long-time member here who had an arrangement to have a child out of wedlock and she and the father are both satisfied. I won't betray who she is obviously, but what I'm asking for is not that outlandish. It just offends the sensibilities of the 1952 Beaver Cleaver types here.

The purpose of this thread was to gauge among men on this forum which country they would go to to find a wife, or a mother of their children supposing they didn't have any other options.

That's a wild extrapolation. Just like in stock trading, you only enter trades when you have multiple indicators in your favor. In the West, the women have all the power in the dating game because men have to compete with several rival males for her attention. This means she holds all the cards and she can change the rules at any time. In Eastern Europe and Thailand, the advantage is reversed.

There is an entire documentary on American men who have mixed offspring in the Philippines and a few of them were Black. An acquaintance of mine who trades stocks has been to SE Asia numerous times and he said, he stopped worrying about getting a girlfriend when he posted on a forum for SE expats and he got 50+ responses from interested women.

In SE Asia, women keep a nice figure for men and they compete with each other to be the best cook, housekeeper, masseuse, etc. My intention is not to find a "submissive, docile" wife.
