Kamela does not identify much with Black Americans regardless of what she says because she was a career prosecutor (lots $$$$) from an upper middle class family with a an Brahmin upper cast Mother and a very Euro mix upper class Jamaican who's female slave ancestors were one the rare ones who got accepted into Anglo society in colonial Jamaica through Manumission and marriage (rather than out of wedlock birth which was the norm in white male/black female mixes in British Caribbean)

Gotta love on how she uses her mixed heritage to her advantage. Seem to be quite common among the non-white democrats. I mean..why can't they embrace all of their heritage? Now, I don't know the relations between Indians and Blacks in the Caribbean but..
