Neo-cons are already furious over Trump removing troops from both Afghanistan and Iraq.




The real problem was the west's arming of jihadis. It's the open secret that no one dares mention. They will never succeed in Afghanistan because the people there will always view their government as a foreign puppet and the Taliban as a nationalist freedom fighter group.

However, it is an important strategic move for Trump to be preparing for the US to completely withdraw from all foreign conflicts.

Israel is now upset, and suddenly rockets are flying into US embassy in Iraq. They'll use that to justify taking control from him as a lame duck.




The first time I ever saw the media, including CNN, unironically praise Trump, was when he did those (what ended up being minor for-show) airstrikes on Syria.
