^^ Poverty rate among Puerto Ricans in the USA was 23% IN 2017. Among Dominicans it was 22% and among Mexicans 20%. However, 54% of all Dominicans in the USA were born in the DR while 31% of Mexicans in the USA were born in Mexico. At the same time 29% of all Puerto Ricans here were born in the island.
