Black Panther guy isn't particularly handsome, but he's a very fit guy. Elba is a very charming and suave guy. I don't think either was necessarily a bad choice.
3 males of african descent in a row is unusual, but this is the world where Lupita Nyongo is also called the world's most beautiful woman and Barack Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize. We can't deny the political nature of awards like this, but it's no big deal.
