The only thing remotely factual about your assessment is that Saxons are a representation of, as you put it, “the Germanic side.” Evidently, Saxons were actually from within the borders of what we know today as Germany: Saxony.

Angles were a Germanic tribe that invaded alongside the Saxons and Jutes. They eventually just merged together into what the people called Saxons, at the time of unification there was no real difference between the three tribes and the Celts in their realms.
