Not as often as I would like to.

I'm particularly interested in ancient civilizations like Egypt or Greece, so I'm way more interested in a random egyptian cartouche (though I wouldn't understand anything written on it) than in a Picasso or Kahlo painting.

Very interesting! I had never heard about that festival.

I found this video on it:

I try to visit museums often. My favorite would be the fine arts museum, Houston had a Van Gogh exhibition that I loved.
I also take my son to the children’s museum and natural science museum a lot.

Nice if your son enjoys visiting museums with you! How old is he, if I may ask?

Yes, the last time I was overseas, I visited several museums. Oddly, both the UK and NZ feel like home once I'm settled in. Our accents are different but little else.
Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.

It's very important to give children a taste for that, well done. I would like to do the same with my daughter.

i don’t visit them as often as i would like unfortunately.

the last time i went to a museum was to the louvre in 2014. i was talking to a guy from my mandarin class about it and he told me you can see everything in one day. when i went, i remember entering and thinking this nigga is tripping. as i went further in, i realized that dude was a meathead. there’s no way possible you can really experience everything in a day unless you just walk through the rooms and consider that sufficient.

Been to the Franklin Institute (Philadelphia) and the Liberty Science Center (close to NYC), multiple times with the kids.

One of the famous exhibits at The Franklin Institute is a giant-sized replica of a human heart. You walk thru the heart in tight passage ways, tunnels, and stairs that follow the same path your blood flows. I loved it when I was a kid, and now my kids have gotten to experience it too.

The kids also enjoyed, Field Station Dinosaurs, an outdoor exhibit with full, life-sized replicas of Dinosaurs - some of them animatronic. I have used a picture of me with the Dinasours in the background as an avi.

I have also visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC several times.

Oh, and also in NYC, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, that was fun.
