This. A lot of hispanics have also Italian sounding surname. NYC is fully of Middleasterners and hispanics.

    can you prove it?
No, they are not. Both Northern and Southern Europeans are of European stock and their genetics difference is just because of the fact that they have been isolated by some geographical barriers. Middle East/North Africa is just another story.

MENA have a lot of EEF and this is not just from "MENA of European settler origin" since it is distributed all over the population.

Why do countries/people try to expand their sphere of influence?

I don't know if you saw me talking about that topic, i am from galati (Romania) and i score a bit of middle east in most of the dna test such like myheritage, ftdna and g25. On myheritage i have 5.2% middle east and 3% ashkenazi, on ftdna i have 2% druze, 1% northem levant and 2% ashkenazi. I wonder where the druze and levant part comes from. I have a great grandmother that comes from szekeler land, she was romanian, not szekely and i found a jewish family name on her before she got married. But the middle east, i have no idea. Do i have a recent middle east ancestry or it is normal from my region to get it? In my matches, i have no middle eastern or levantine matches, but i found instead, a few balkan turk matches.

Because they are all a part of the Mediterranean race. Mediterranean also includes MENA and South Asians.

I dunno, about that there is definitely an overlap with the Levant but it just be a minority of Italians etc... but I'm not sure of the exact percentages because I'm not obsessed with this kind of thing.

Not ENF, they were related especially to the Levant, Jews are their closest relatives alongside Sicilians. Also the Phoenicians, Greeks and Italians all mixed together.

Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.

Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.
