I avoid dating men from France (whether they are ethnic French, Black, North African or whatever...) as much as I can because I'm sick of attracting weirdos & pervs with fetish or clichés (even from French-North African men)
It happens also with other European nationalities but never as much as with French men... yikes

It's just that racial fetichism towards Maghrebi women in France is extremely frequent. I also don't like the mindset/behaviours of most French men, even more from Paris (whatever their backgrounds might be) in general when it comes to dating anyway. I've had the opportunity to date other nationalities, French are a "never ever again".

It doesn't matter that much because brazilians tend to date by social class, a rich italian-brazilian is more likely to date a rich lebanese-brazilian than a poor italian-brazilian for example.

Some traits are more fancied than others though (regardless of ethnicity), brazilian men are obsessed with blonde women for instance, so we have millions of "loiras oxigenadas" (roughly "peroxided blondes") over here, some even end up looking like the Pokémon Jynx or something similar.

No its true. How its not true? For some ethnicities it is "Ok he is ethnicity X but why does it matter everyone should love whoever he/she wants, love defeats everything" and for some it is "wow you are italian thats so cool..."

The OP was asking if YOUR OWN particular ethnicity has ever been a hindrance when it came to dating, yet most of the replies are about people talking about whether someone ELSE's ethnicity matters to them or not in dating. You all lack comprehension skills.

Absolutely wrong. Or rather say, wishful thinking from men down the pecking order in race and ethnic ladder.
