From some time I am looking for another language to learn.
I was thinking of some slavic, but it would be too easy, germanic - not too usefull, nonindoeuropean - to much absorbing time.
So, as I do not know any romanic language, except some very basic and narrow latin, I decided that next will be some romanic.
Spanish probably would be the most usefull, but for my needs, not at all. So I was thinking about french, but more about italian.
I decided that first should be Italian, as he seems a lot more easier than french (at least from polish point of view) as has easy
pronunciation and way of writing, and - as is latin based - has a lot of international vocabulary. So from these reasons and also
because I cannot afford too much time (I think 20-30h/month would be the best what I can do, but will be hard) it seems that
italian will be the right choice. My basic form of learning it is hearing and reading stuff. At the beginning obviously I would have
to go through some standard lessons, but what peculiar you can say about learning this language and what advice or methods
can you suggest, which would be usefull here? Maybe there is some secret which helps to absorb this tounge immediatly?
Thanx for sharing your ideas!
