Sorry. Maybe it was the wrong comparison. I know that Hungarians are not racially Uralic, because they decided to conquer their domain from too far south, so they ended up assimilating too much Southern Caucasoid ancestry. I view Uralic people as a transcontinental North Eurasian race who are mixes between Northern Mongoloids and Northern Caucasoids in different proportions, so anyone from Finns to Nganasans can still be racially Uralic, because they are genetically mostly northern. But maybe a similar analogy doesn't apply to Ural-Altaic peoples as a whole.
However if I traveled to 4,000 BC, I would be very disappointed if proto-Ural-Altaic people looked like Pajeet, like the guy in the bottom right corner here: https://eurasianet.org/turkmenistan-...n-the-army-now.
