South Asian as in Pakistani and among some higher caste Indian groups in the north. You don't pass as Tamil, no. You don't look South Asian though, that's why I said you distinctly look Iranian. Passing and looking specifically like an ethnicity are two different things.

I would never guess you as Indian, you look Iranian so i'm guessing your Parsi family aren't heavily mixed with Indians. Are you tested?

I'm SLIGHTLY more Ieaning towards Iranians than regular Parsis are because I am 1/8th-1/4th Irani. (By Irani I mean the Zoroastrians who moved to South Asia during the Qajjar dynasty. Boman Irani is an example. Their last names are almost always Irani.). My grandpa was Parsi priest and they are slightly more endogamic than even regular Parsi . These 2 reasons are why I assume I have SLIGHTLY more Persian than other parsis.
23andme said I am 3/4s Persian and 1/4 Indian and GEDmatch calculators with Parsi samples (like MDLP) say I am closest to Parsis followed by Iranians.
