    Default Question About My Results

    Hello there.

    I was buy mtDNA test on FTDNA. And i see, my haplogroup is H. I'm not testing full sequence, i just test HVR1&HVR2 regions. I have a question for you. How can i find my H subclade? I search many mtDNA predictor but i can't use it. Also, what do you know about haplogroup H?

    Best Regards

    I already answered, there is no subclade in mt-DNA. It is just H.
    qpAdm: Bulgarian_1.DG= 77 - Kimak.SG= 23, p= 0.36, se= 0.31.
    Y: Q-L330 > Q-YP771 > Q-BZ180 > Q-F16045* (F15008*) --> Baikal N, Altai MLBA, Aldy-Bel, Pazyryk, Hun.
    MT: K1a --> Iron Gates, Starcevo, Bulgaria N, Bulgaria CA, Bulgaria BA.

    This means your mt-DNA H is just predicted and not certain.

    But that prediction is correct in most cases.

    Sometimes the subclade is predicable based on HVR1&HVR2, sometimes not. Probably in your case not. Here is a predictor. I have not used it and can't help more.
