I subscribed to their mails letter, and after some time the executive pastor of the congregation added me on linkedin, he found me somehow on linkedin and added me as contact. His surname is Liebenberg, obviously he is a christian not jewish but do you think he is of ashkenazi origins, is liebenberg a name of ashkenazi origins? And do you think the congregation is of "israeli/ashkenazi/sephardi/mizrahi" origins or consists of non-israelis?

Many of them are Jewish wannabes/fetishists who don't want to give up Jesus, but the community was actually intended as a way to convert Jews to Christianity and they proselytise a lot, which we tend not to appreciate. Furthermore, they present themselves as Jews, which is annoying at best. They suffer from an inferiority complex because obviously no one accepts them as Jews (Off Jew Dilemma? OJD?) and they ask schools to let them speak to kids about what being a Jew is like, which is extremely irritating. That these guys are not Jewish is the one thing the entire Jewish community agrees on.

It sounds a bit..sinister to me. Like, for me, it sounds like they're trying to get Jews away from Judaism and it's core beliefs among other things like their cultural heritage, and converting them to Christianity. I mean, Jews are an ethno-religious grouping similar to Copts, Druze and etc, and, uh, it does seem that the scheme is to get Jews to abandon their old faith and traditions to accept this strange Christian cult, no? I wouldn't be surprised if the Hanukkah story is about foreigners/aliens in telling the Jews on how they should be living their lives and etc which prompted the Jewish people to fight back.

Actually "Liebenberg" sounds like a fake name. Something an inept Missionary made up based on an incoherent understanding of modern Ashkenazi surnames. I have never in USA, Israel Latin America met a Jew with this surname. There are similar names but this one is a "Piltdown Man."
