Yes, they are. Even Syrian-lebaneses are white here, jews the same.
Every caucasoid phenotype is considered white, except the one that are mixraced, like most of indians, bedouins, Ethiopians etc.

Sicilians in general are lighter than the Portuguese in pigmentation. Here in Brazil I have two colleagues who are the grandchildren of Sicilians and they are very white, maybe not with pink skin but with very pale skin. Whiter than 75% or more of Portuguese descendants. They have some alpine admixture which is sometimes visible in the phenotype.
And I don't think Sicilians are darker than Iberians. It depends on the region. Sicilians are still lighter than Portuguese and Andalusians. I would say that they are on the same level as the Spaniards in Galicia. Some are wholly alpine in appearance.
Sometimes, I even think that the descendants of Lebanese in Brazil are very similar to the descendants of Sicilians and other southern Italians. Mediterraneans dinaricized by alpine mixture. At least in terms of skin color, they are still slightly lighter than the Portuguese.

I like thinking big. If you're going to be thinking anything, you might as well think big. Donald Trump
