Default Are Sicilians 'pardos' in Brazil?

Do Brazilians of Sicilian and Southern Italian descent generally consider themselves to be 'White' or 'Pardo'?
I know that Brazilians of Iberian descent are seen as 'White' there because they have a lighter skin color than the blacks, Native Americans and most mixed people there.

However, we all know that Sicilians (along with Greeks and Cypriots) are actually one of the darkest European groups with MENA overlap. Darker than Iberians.
So would an olive-skinned, curly-haired Sicilian be as 'Pardo' as a mixed person in Brazil?

Some South Italians would be mistaken for browns here (but we don't separate light browns from whites)
This girl is tri-racial with dark-skinned father, mother and brother

Man, most of them are white and look european mediterranean person with some east influences. But a minority of them can been seen as pardos, for example I thought Tite was mixed race before discover he is just a 100% italian born in Brazil. Also I thought Flavio Migliaccio was an arab/lebanese. But they are not the typical South Italian, I think only São Paulo have a significant number of these examples and even there its clearly minority.

Yes, a Type IV skinned guy with curly hair can be seen as pardo.

However, as most light pardos, he would suffer 0 racism at all.

True the racism against light pardos(generally people 70-79% european) is like zero. Its even well acepted their marriage with very traditional white families.

Also many of them can be middle and upper class, in part because they can be result of the marriage of whites with well off average pardos.

Brazilians look phenotype. Genetics is a very recent thing and also you dont see someone in streets and automatically know his ancestry.

In Brazil the things can be said a lot by how you are treated by guards and private securities in the streets or stores and of course they dont know your ancestry, just your phenotype. Thats the real life : /
