The Akuntsu are a tribe of only 6 individuals due to being massacred by loggers. They inhabit the central western Brazilian region of Rondonia. They live a very primitive existence but have an interesting more sedentary lifestyle than tribes similarly untamed.

They practiced a fairly typical Amazonian shamanism, utilizing hallucinogenics, "medicine man" type Shamans and most likely an animistic religion. They don't seem to use any type of bodypaint or tattooing.
They also have very minor piercing, very small gauge ear piercings on both the males and females.
They aren't very sexually dimorphic and consist of mixed Lagid and Amazonian phenotypes in my opinion.

Me too! I grew up with a lot of older media like looney tunes etc. Although some might find that old media racist etc. It really sparked my interest in the "savage islander" They are a relic from the age of mystery and discovery. I also admire their strong refusal to accept any outsider. They are super archaic too; they live off almost nothing.

Yea these people shouldn't be bothered. It's arrogant and not particularly useful to Christianity to try and convert these people. He was endangering them as their immunities to our diseases are probably very low.
