My theory is that they want to "virtue signal" by sounding less white/ European as possible. Defending or at least pretending to defend the other side, virtually washing off any signs of racism or guilt within them.

Well, there is nothing wrong with embracing any part of your heritage, but at least to me, reading some of the things Silver posts, it comes off like he either despises or neglects his (very) obvious African heritage. I mean, I was reading some old threads where he was telling people he was white for fucks sake, hahahaha.

Maybe he feels differently now, and if he does then great, but idk man, it just reeks of identity issues and complexes to me

I embrace my suuuuuuper distant Canarian guanche more than he does the genes that make up nearly half (?) of what he is.

You can't tell/dictate what people should feel like.

I've been called so many ethnicities through my 28 years of life (even called "blanco" by this arab French chick back in high school) , and not one time I've been mad about it. I respect their opinions and even laughed along with them.

In Europe I might be called a certain thing, in Asia as well, in Latin American, from Puerto Rican to some sort of Central American, indio, negro, morenito etc.. So many variations, here in DR by itself I've been called 80% of the time "blanco" and the rest of occasions if "medio clarito" or indiesito if it's in the more northern regions of DR which has a whiter /European component.

This isn't about a damn identity issue, is just personal beliefs, mixed with a variation of local racial identity and my own genetic component.

People like Cemmunos are too f*king narrow minded and full of ego and self fulfillment to understand this shit. The left feeds off of negativity, control, attacking others and virtue signaling..

Another is to hold it as a trophy, throw the rest under the carpet and spend hours on this forum dick measuring % euro ancestry in their home countries and doing mental gymnastics to feel as white as possible.
