The Best Beach Ever

Altinkum in Izmir, Turkey has the best sea I've ever seen. Never been abroad so I can't tell for other nations but it looks like that of tropical islands. The sea is very clear. The best beach and sea I've ever seen.

In all the Mediterranean coasts we can find beautiful beaches, this one is Cala Mitjana in Menorca Island:

I was planning a trip to Cambodia and Thailand with my mother in law (she's a travel fanatic) but Covid happened.

None of the beaches above have any energy. I've never found them attractive bar for photos as they might as well just be pools with a beautiful background.

I prefer this type of beach. Just an average Northland beach with energy, rocks with tidepools, shellfish and sealife. Kids love them too.

Mid-summer and it was all ours.

I am Mediterranean supremacist but I do admit Thailand beaches are stunning and above the rest of the world

Greece has hundreds of them so hard to pick. My favourite one is Porto Katsiki in Lefkada, I've appreciated it at any age.



Recent favourite is Saint Brelade Bay in Jersey (Channel Islands).

Antalya and Mugla have the best ones in Turkey, the ones that we have in Izmir are nothing compared to them in my opinion
