It's just TA, what do you expect? Irl Iberians don't hate Italians, just like how Greeks don't hate Italians. It's just a petty competition on an online forum-- thinking ab how seriously people take it makes me cringe.

I personally make fun in 99% of circimstances like this, but sadly yes, most of Greeks (and Spaniards, and italians, the latter somewhat less frequently) get butthurt very easily

What are you measuring for "genetically southern and med"?

As for Sardinians they have bad distances with everyone being a genetic isolate. Neither spanish or portuguese are particularly close to sardinians.



Their distance to iberians is about the same that iberians have from scandinavians. So i wouldn't use it to mention any kind of closeness.

I guess some of it can be synthetic shifting? Portuguese plot closer to them than Spanish do, on a visual PCA using K15. I even re-did it with my own samples. Same result.
