Within the continental United States, I'd obviously have to say either New York or Los Angeles, given that they're basically international communities.
If we're going with a more conventional answer, I'd say any place that is considered "rural"; i.e. the sticks. Lancaster, Pennsylvania is about a half hour away from where I am, and it's a whole different world out there, compared to the affluent Philadelphian suburbs.
