Although when you think about it, the location is very close to the sea and between Corsica and Sardinia, so I would not rule out the possibility that later on it would be located in a continental destination.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

I only know I'm R-M417 (R1a1a1)...maybe some day I'll do the deeper clade testing.

My clade is just a circle around Europe, most likely developed in Poland or the Balkans. It is associated with Neolithic tombs and Mesolithic hunter gatherers as well as Saxons, Germans, Slavs and Vikings.
Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.
Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.

Does someone know about the R-Z19 clade? My paternal line comes from The Peloponesse/Central Greece.

We walked across the fields to see the children of the West
But we saw a host of dark skinned warriors
Standing still below the ground,
Waiting for battle!" (Supper’s Ready, Genesis)
