Serotonin Long/Short variation.

I noticed I have an allele associated with the serotonin transporter rs25531. It is very rare in europeans and somewhat found in africans btw. This reduces the expression of the transporter in my understanding, but is in phase with the long allele of the 5HT (serotonin) gene. I know its more of an anthropologic than a regular genetic forum but if anyone interested in this stuff or has more knowledge about this I would be open to receive some further information. You can check your polymortphism as well if you have it in your genome.
