As a matter of fact, many years ago, around 2005, (the writer of the blog article) heard from two different sources about the CCP’s global long-term strategy. One source is Chen Yonglin, CCP’s former political consul at the Chinese consulate in Sydney, who defected to Australia in 2005. Another source is Yuan Hongbin, a former law professor at Peking University, who escaped from China to Australia in 2004.

So, the basic idea is, the CCP has long since realized that it had no ability to resolve the political, social, economical and financial problems inside China at all. So the only way out is to declare war against Taiwan to bring the nation to an emergency state.

Under a wartime emergency state, the CCP can do many things that it cannot do in normal times, such as freeze people’s assets, including foreigners’ and foreign businesses’ assets in China. So a wartime status is the only way out for the CCP.

The Chinese operator of the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant has said it will shut down one of its reactors over damaged fuel rods, adding that there is no cause for concern over safety.
On Friday, China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) released a statement reiterating that everything was “completely under control” and that they had decided to shut down a reactor at the facility for maintenance.

The statement notes that a small amount of damage occurred with the fuel rods at reactor unit one, but it was still within the allowable range and could continue to operate stably. The maintenance operation at the Guangdong-based plant will focus on finding the cause of the fuel rod damage and replacing the units in question.

A fifth of sailors assigned to Chinese submarines patrolling the South China Sea have experienced some degree of mental health problems, according to a study published (in January 2021).

'This study demonstrates for the first time that (sailors) and officers in the submarine force in the South China Sea are exposed to a number of mental health risks and are suffering from serious psychological problems,' Chinese researchers concluded in the study published Jan. 7 in the journal Military Medicine.

For decades, whenever floods (have threatened) the industrial zones and key transportation hubs downstream, this region becomes submerged when officials release the Wangjia dam upstream. For the authorities, it makes sense to flood a vast rural area that contributes less to the country’s GDP.
