Welsh had a decent impact in Early Colonial America, that's why there's no shortage of Welsh names there. Many of the early prominent families were more Anglo-Welsh than fully English.

West Coast. Lots of British Isles names here too among the Euro population. I've never come across a Romney either. Must be a fairly rare name.

Other names that common to mind (mostly Welsh?):

    Morgan (very common)
    Davies
    Lewis
    Evans

One that just came to me: Wilkerson, an American corruption of Wilkinson (which itself is probably less common among Anglo-Americans)

    Wilkerson prevalence/ranking
    United States 61,652 / 686
    Australia 378 / 8,443
    England 370 / 14,397
    Canada 130 / 26,469

Wilson and Huxley no, the two famous Huxley's are English. Coleman spelled that way appears to be more common in the US but I wouldn't say it's particularly American, in many cases it might be an Anglicisation of Kohlmann or Cullmann.
