Default Physical description of my French ancestors

At the time, in France, from the age of 20 the French had to do their military service (obligatory). This is how military files were stored, these files indicate the military course and a physical description (color of the eyes, hair, eyebrows, shape of the chin, forehead, nose, and height).

They use the french taxonomy (more realistic at the level of color).

Here, all the military files of some of my ancestors that I was able to recover online:

Obviously. In France blonde hair is not common among adults (but very common among children)... Their eyes color were within NW France average (more light than dark)

    French taxonomy >>> Anglo-saxon taxonomy.

It's not about light, it's about the shade of color. You use again a anglo-saxon taxonomy. Chesnut eyes is (you don't know the term) "light" in the french taxonomy, only dark or medium brown is "dark" in the french taxonomy.

+++ Deban me, Loki. Loki, you kick me out, you indicate a 7 day ban and then ban me permanently, knowing that I have a VPN and that I could recreate accounts indefinitely, it doesn't make sense.

You never ban people who insult H24 on Apricity, but for a single only troll (about a "leftist" romanian girl with no french blood living in my country) you definitely ban (7 days and after "forever", what a weird thing).
