    Yeah Wooster and Lester.

English have shortened the cester/chester over time which was an old english word for a roman settlement.

You'd think but as I've said before the English language is anarchy going in all sorts of directions.

Words that start with a V or W can be tricky for a non-native speaker like me. Especially when they come to be many in order, like they were very wrong. I have to really concentrate not to lose it and start to slur in what becomes almost gibberish.

    1) I have a hard time pronouncing the british R right. American R is closer to hungarian R, but it is still different. I could probably learn it if I lived in an anglophone country for some years. I use a rolling R like Spaniards and Russians.
    2) The "th" sound (in the word "think" for example) is, in my opinion, a totally retarded and moronic sound, but I manage it better than R.
    3) I pronounce V and W in exactly the same way in many cases. So I pronounce word as "vord". The English "W" sound is not used in my language, that's why.

^I don't mind when foreigners pronounce W as V (and find it cute in women), but I hate when th is not pronounced (from native speakers especially).
    Spoiler!
