Opinions on montessori education?

I've been homeschooling my toddler for a year and have implemented some aspects of montessori education but I'm wondering if other parents found it effective? It's supposed to be child led and encourages independent learning and play. It seems like a very expensive method to implement though. My toddler is a typical boy, prefers sports, making and breaking things, messy play, and loves loves the outdoor lifestyle. He is a free spirit so the child led method will work for him on the other hand, some kids seem to get bored out of their minds with this method. It just seems good in theory and not much in practice and not suitable for all children however having some elements in their everyday learning seems to be really great for their development.

I think that any kids should go to school with other kids and learn joke play and fight with each other and that whats make them grow in healty way, like the way it is. Because kids that grow in close home even with all the love of the world, wont have strong personality and normal way of life as the other kids. Thats my tough as a father

I partially support your opinions about social orientation of children but formal education is completely bullshit. Nonsense. I look at the past and wish i never went to school. Pure waste of time. Also children can socialize in other ways.
