Anglo-Saxons are superior period. People are all like "Russia defeated Germany in WWII" meanwhile without Russia, not that they did not help, America, Canada, UK and Australia would have eventually defeated Hitler, anyway. I don't think Anglo-Saxons have particularly broad faces as that seems to a thing as you go more East in Europe. Alpine can give broad faces ,in the West, a long with Borreby and maybe Faelid but Alpine is a peasant strain.
Just as the japanese (island-dwellers) are livelier, happier, easier than the dreadful people on the continent the same way the English are superior to Germans and other continentals.
We Anglo-Saxons are superior in plain and practical sense, in industrial activity and political sagacity our race is industrial and commercial more than military so Americans war more than we like.
There is no race in the world equal to us in war, thought, industry, or politics, because we are by nature fitted for this work.

I didn't claim either of the empires was brought down by just those original parties - they indeed had allies among the natives. But that was even one of my points in here - you win wars by a clever strategy and diplomacy, among other things. But those are generally the one of most important factors, if not the most. And winning wars despite all the odds against you is what being good at war is. Anyhow, the example I posted is valid if I remember correctly - they indeed got him with no outside help and didn't lost any of the conquistadores.
