Default Doing exericises to reduce anxiety

Since I quarantine myself at my own house it gives me a feeling of anxiety and fear. So to help reduce the feeling I decided to do exercises just to reduce the negativity that I feel. How about you, how do you get rid of if you have the same feeling as mine?

I have not yet had to quarantine during the pandemic, but I exercise all the time, partly as a form of stress/anxiety relief. As I have been sitting here at my laptop in the last hour I have mixed in 20 minutes total on my elliptical machine (in four, 5 minute bursts), and also done 4 sets of planks. I feel good now man. I think exercise will be a great tool for you.

Working out definitely is more than just physical gains, it's also mental. Personally, when I get a pump I feel rejuvenated and relaxed in my thoughts and in my body.

Working out has definitely helped me with my anxiety whether it’s at the gym or just a quick jog at the park.
Getting fresh air is always good.

One thing that I noticed also helped with my anxiety was cutting back on all the junk food I was eating and feeding my body the nutrients it needed instead.
Taking care of your body will help you improve physically and mentally.

Other things you can try are Aromatherapy, CBD Oil and meditation.

During morning i go outside in park to walk/run and feel the breeze and also swimming in the pool sometimes.
It somehow makes me feel more relaxed and forget the problems.

Obviously. I mean, it helps with my intrusive thoughts since I have pure O which is a type of OCD that's based only on intrusive thoughts rather than with compulsory actions or behavior.

Helps me with my BDD which can be described as a form of OCD with body images, and intrusive negative images, and thoughts ab myself so I totally get you on that.

Definitely work out. It makes your body feel good. Helps with the sads and bottled up aggression.

    Try ashwagandha for anxiety.

Listen to the girl - cut the junk food. Its a little thing psychologically that makes you feel good when you eat good.

I do calisthenics and run outside all of the time, used to be a hardcore gym rat but covid times with everything closed made me realize how important functional strength is, also how cheap an olympic bar and plates is.

Exercise makes you look and feel so much better, I recommend it 100%. Honestly, even beyond the immediate release of dopamine, the realization you are making gains will make you feel great! Also when things start returning back to normal, the gym is a really good way to make friends.
