Default Need help with Y-Seq and Haplogroup R-CTS9219

    Hi guys,

I need help with buying the right Panel for the Haplogroup "R-CTS9219" to get a deeper clade but i cant seem to find the right one. Y-Full would be much easier i know but im not willing to spend that much money right now.
Has anyone experience with this Haplogroup?

R-Z2103 panel doesn't offer anything below RY5592 as far as I can see. Testing individual snps (for each potential subclade below current one) might be only option if not bigY on FTDNA.
But maybe even if you test all potential snps under R-CTS9219 you'll get nothing, there is no guarantee as this branch is already pretty deep.

Thank you two for your answer.
I guess ill just buy the relatively useless Y-37 first and upgrade it a few months later. Im not familiar with isogg and i also dont want to break my head with over which clade to buy.

Hello! I have the same subclad. FTDNA - R-FTE23559. I am from Poland, since around 1700 my ancestors moved from somewhere in Poland as settlers to the region of Lviv and western Ukraine. In 1900, my ancestor and 4 sons left for Bosnia, near Prnjavor - Laktasi. In 1946 they returned to Poland. Part of the family remained in Bosnia. I'm curious about 1500 B.C. from Bosnia they moved to Poland. Probably along the amber route with the Celts. There is also a possibility of early medieval migration with the Avars. Interesting thing.
