Jerusalem is a holy city for Christians too. It's a holy land where Jesus and apostoles lived, so root of much of our own European civilisation. My parents visited Israel in detail and they loved it.

Yeah. Med coast has fantastic climate and warm sea. My parents had no issue with heat in Israel because it is totally dry.

I would be more bothered with Armenia coldness, although it is very interesting country too and their old churches are lovely.
