lol RIP Germany. I can't really hate on the Greens as humans because they are objectively the most moral people out there but they are so dangerous and reckless it's scary. Fucking normie political issues.

I remember back in 2010 people were saying Europe would be swept up in civic nationalist cultural revolutions and parties in a few years because of the "silent majority waking up" or whatever cope mechanism non-sense, so much for that. Turkey going in the right direction atleast away from Erdogan-ism.

Biden's election might be sparking a domino effect for the decline of populist movements around the world. A lot of populist politicians have been elected in the recent years but it has been observed that they bring no concrete solution to people's real problems and lean towards authoritarianism.

Merkel's popular support seems to be still strong, Greens are increasing their ground by stealing votes from the SPD, according to the chart.

And yes; most polls in Turkey reveal that Erdogan's support is lower than that of opposition parties and he is likely to lose the next election. Hopefully it will happen soon.
