I like both versions practically in equal.
Even though Whiteney's voice was something awesome to me.

Before drugs ruined it, of course. I saw her live in London in her last-ever tour in 2010 - her voice was very croaky and puffed-out even then, and at one point the audience booed her as she kept on waffling on between songs and even had the choir sing her song Queen of the Night instead of herself. Also, she paid tribute to Michael Jackson, and I thought to myself "Whitney, if you're not careful, you're gonna follow in his footsteps"...
