Brazil has the most classification in Miss Universe after the USA and Venezuela.

My favs in order of apparition: Vera Braunber, Angela Vasconcelos. Ana Ridzi, Carmen Ramasco, Martha Vasconcelos, Rejane Costa, Suzana Araujo, Evelyn Schroeter, Marisa Coelho, Deise Nunes, Jackeline Meirelles, Patricia Godoi, Valeria Peris, Renata Bessa, Joana Prizotto, Natalia Guimaraes, Raissa Santana.

Natalia Guimaraes was robbed in 2007. She should'd won. Brazil along with Colombia has a long history of robbed crown but so more Brazil IMO. I see an overrepresentation of non-Iberian surnames btw. You can tell most of them are natural compared to other Latin American beauty queens.

I dont agree, most of them are white girls for obvious reasons many countries have. More than half around two thirds still have iberian surnames and other more or less one third have italian or german. Some very few had british, arabic and scandinavian.

These percentages are completely plausible for our white population that can be found all over the country, but its more in Southeast and South and even these regions were full of Miss with iberian surnames.

For a diverse country like Brazil, thats far to be considered overrepresented (among the white half at least).

I see how before 1990 they were much more natural and then it started to change so much. Yes, I remember people talking about that rob with Natália Guimarães when I was a kid, people were saying how the persons of Miss Universe have some problem with Brazil that started some decades ago I dont know remember why.

Now that you explain I can see it. I notice more blonde girls here compared to other countries btw. Yes, Miss Universe is a joke many times.
