No, they will not disappear culturally, because from the materials that I have seen, Romas/Gypsies assimilate into the Romanian culture, but genetically Romanians will become clear mestizos.
I have looked at countless villages from all regions and every corner in the country, villages that appeared as 100% Romanian in the 2011 census. Everywhere that I looked at the younger generation, gymnasium+, in the best case scenario I saw about a 50/50 split in the classroom between Romanian and Gypsy faces. When the current generation of 30-40 year olds will die, this country will become Gypsy majority nation because the youngest generation is majority Gypsy at the moment.
The union with Moldova will never happen. I don't see how even the fiercest supporter will want that in such circumstances.

If all romanians mix with all Gypsies they would be 1% southasian or below that amount. Because gypsies are not more then 10% even if we think that there are more then officially. Also Im sure that majority of romanians, is already gypsy admixed, there is no clear line between mixed gypsies and romanians. I know the pure gypsies from balkan are 1/3 southasian, but im only 1/5 because i have not 4 gypsy grandparents and lets say i mix further with a romanian woman, it would be 1/8 or 1/7 im sure it wouldnt look different then average romanians, i mean my kid.
